Why We Do

What We Do

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the physical, mental and social benefits of being active, whatever their age, ability or health condition.

For some people, getting started with exercise isn't as simple as joining a gym or going to a fitness class. Living with a long-term health condition, disability, pain, reduced mobility or a loss of confidence can make knowing where to start feel difficult.

Cotswold Exercise Referral CIC provides safe, supportive and inclusive opportunities for people to become more active, build strength and confidence, and take a more active role in their health and wellbeing. We work alongside healthcare professionals and the local community to help people find forms of exercise that are appropriate for them.

Cotswold Exercise Referral CIC is a Community Interest Company. Our purpose is to use exercise and physical activity to improve health and wellbeing in our local community. We believe that cost shouldn't be the reason someone is unable to access appropriate exercise and support. We therefore work to secure grants, community funding and other sources of income that allow us to provide subsidised and accessible services for people who need them.

Our aim is to reinvest any surplus we generate back into the community, helping us support more people, develop new programmes and make our services available to those who may otherwise struggle to access them. If you believe everyone should have the opportunity to be active and improve their health, you can help us make that possible.

Every donation helps.

Your donation could help us subsidise a place for someone living with a long-term health condition, provide equipment, support the development of new community exercise programmes, or help us reach people who might otherwise be unable to take part.

Whether it's £5, £25, £100, or more, your contribution can help us make a real difference locally.

Donate today and help us make exercise more accessible to the people who need it most.
